The world fell.
We're rebuilding it.

Null7Studios is a one-person indie studio making games worth losing sleep over. The current build: Afterfall — a survival game about the long work of rebuilding civilization, one day at a time, against something that doesn't want it rebuilt.

Introducing Afterfall

The cataclysm almost finished humanity. It didn't quite manage it. Now, every night, the thing that caused it comes back to try again — and every day, you rebuild a little more of what's left.

Afterfall is a survival game about the work of coming back from the end of the world. By day you gather, build, and fortify — every wall, every generator, every rescued survivor is a foothold. By night you hold that ground against an enemy that only gets bolder the more you take back. You are humanity's last hope. Don't forget what you're rebuilding it for.

Built by one person. Every system, every line of code, every night you survive — made by a single developer building the game he's always wanted to play. No publisher. No team. Just the work.

Also cooking: Silicon

Afterfall is the main build, but it's not the only thing running. Silicon is an IT business tycoon adventure — spin up a company from a garage server rack, chase contracts, keep the infrastructure (and your sanity) online. It's early, it's a side project, and it'll get its own devlog entries when there's something worth showing.

Why "Null7"?

The founder spent decades in network infrastructure, where null means the route where lost packets go to die. Seven is the crew slot you can never quite fill. Together they're a reminder of what Null7Studios makes games about: the ones you couldn't save, and what you owe it to them to rebuild anyway.
