- When it's ready
The Cataclysm didn't just end civilization — it left something behind. Something that wasn't there before, that doesn't rest, and that comes for anything humanity manages to rebuild. Survivors call it the Hollow. Nobody remembers exactly how it started. Everyone knows it isn't finished.
You hold one outpost — the last one that's held for more than a season. By day, you scavenge, build, and bring in survivors who still have something left to give. By night, the Hollow tests every wall you raised. Lose ground and you don't just lose resources. You lose people. Remember why you're doing this.

How it plays
Rebuild by day
Scavenge the ruins, build and upgrade your outpost, and bring in survivors who each add something the base needs — a medic, an engineer, a reason to keep going. Every day is spent preparing for the night that follows it.
Survive the night
When the sun goes down, the Hollow comes for whatever you built. Position defenses, direct your survivors, and hold the line until dawn. What breaks tonight is what you'll be rebuilding tomorrow.
Never forget
Every survivor you lose is remembered — on the wall, in the choices that follow, in what you're willing to risk to make sure it wasn't for nothing. This isn't a game about winning cleanly. It's about what you carry forward.
